Raleigh, NC – Triangle MLS, a wholly-owned subsidiary corporation of the Raleigh Regional Association of REALTORS®, today announced a new integration with Fiber Homes, the leading source of broadband availability data for the real estate industry, to provide internet availability data at the address level to the more than 15,000 Triangle MLS Subscribers across sixteen North Carolina counties.

Through this integration, real estate agents and brokers using Triangle MLS will now see a new “Internet Access” section in all CRS Property Reports. This will enable agents to provide their clients with the most accurate and up-to-date information on broadband availability at any residential listing. The report includes internet providers confirmed at the home or reported in the area, as well as advertised speeds.

"Triangle MLS has been a great partner for us since we launched our platform for the real estate industry, and we’re excited to now be able to provide our data directly to their membership," said Robert Gilbert, COO of Fiber Homes. “We’re also grateful for the partnership with CRS Data that made the integration possible.”

Nine in 10 prospective home buyers say that the infrastructure to support fast internet is an important consideration when searching for a home, according to Homebuyers’ 5G & Connectivity Needs, Morning Consult and Verizon. That’s why integrating broadband availability databases into MLSs has become a key tool to provide agents and brokers with the information they need to support their clients.
“Our agents and their clients need to know what kind of internet access is available at homes that are available for purchase,” said Triangle MLS Executive Director, Matt Fowler. “We’re proud to make this critical information available in our MLS so that agents can help homebuyers make more informed decisions.”
The integration with Triangle MLS is one of many partnerships for Fiber Homes, which aims to make broadband availability data easier for real estate agents and brokers to access for clients. The company has already built integrations with industry leaders like FlexMLS and Corelogic.
